Whether 3 minute shorts or complete feature length three day wonders, the creation of film
to be seem as a pieces of art rather than entertainment as primary goal. Each stage of
production undertaken in a personally centric way around the artist enabling
the production of a true expression of the originators intent.
An ongoing evolving project of The Absent Cinema centers around production of temporary and
semi-permanant multiple projector loop based 8mm & 16mm film installations for concert/club/gallery
enviroments forming both narrative and non-narrative pieces, creating single and
multiple screen/wall dispays akin to light, movement and contrast portraits.
